Julie has an extensive background of over 25 years delivering health and productivity solutions to her clients in a wide variety of industries.
As a Principal at one of Canada’s largest human resource consulting firms, she led its health and productivity practice in Ontario working with many corporate and not-for-profit organizations. She was also the Practice Leader of the Absence and Disability practice at two leading HR consulting firms working with clients on disability management and workplace wellness initiatives.
Previously, Julie was an Assistant Vice President at a large insurer, leading the Group Disability Claims department, subsequent to many years spent in various management roles, including head of the Group Creditor Disability Claims Department with another Canadian insurer.
She has worked with many organizations of all sizes on disability management and workplace mental health initiatives. As an advocate for workplace mental health, she works with employers to bring about psychological health and safety into their organizations.
She is certified by the Canadian Mental Health Association as a Psychological Health & Safety Advisor to workplaces and is a registered Practitioner with the Human Resource Professionals Association of Canada.
